🏑 Little Steps = BIG Results! Come join us! 🏑

We're a few weeks into my free summer series, Little Steps = Big Results. This challenge is designed to help you get some BIG decluttering wins without it taking a ton of time or effort on your part!

If you're just joining us, it's not too late to get started!

πŸ“ΊThis week, we're going to declutter an old appliance. πŸ“Ί

This could be something small like a blender, or something large like a TV or washing machine.

There's no reason to keep an unused appliance in your home, taking up valuable space. So this week we're going to DO something about it!

Also, this is the LAST week the Summer Decluttering Blitz Kit is available!

This step-by-step roadmap will help you declutter your entire home in 60 days (or less)!

HERE'S HOW TO GET STARTED WITH THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

This week, you're going to get rid of an unused appliance. This could be something that's old, broken, worn out, or just never used and unneeded.

If you think you don't have any, search around your house. A lot of unused appliances end up shoved in the basement, garage, or attic. Also check the kitchen for any unused cooking appliances!

  1. Choose the appliance you want to get rid of.
  2. Decide how you will get it out of your home (consider donating to a local nonprofit or buy nothing group, or scheduling a bulk trash pickup if the item is broken/worn out).
  3. Take a few pictures if you're posting the item online. (This can literally just be pics with your phone, nothing fancy.)
  4. List the item online, contact a nonprofit, or schedule a trash pickup to get the item out of your home.

Here are some ideas for getting this item out of your home ASAP:

  • give it away for free in a local "buy nothing" or "free stuff" group on Facebook
  • donate it to Habitat for Humanity ReStore (they offer free pickup services) or GoodWill
  • take the item to a recycling center or schedule a bulk trash pickup if the item isn't in good condition

So that's really all there is to it. Identify your appliance, and list it online or schedule a pickup.

This will literally take maybe 10 minutes of your day. And what a difference it will make in your home!

You'll notice MORE space in your home and LESS stuff!
