Ready for a fresh start?

This week we're continuing with my free summer series, Little Steps = Big Results.

This challenge is designed to help you get some BIG decluttering wins in just 10-15 minutes a week.

If you're just joining us, it's not too late to get started!

๐Ÿงด This week, we're going to declutter a box of old toiletries & medications. ๐Ÿงด

This stuff accumulates so quickly in bathrooms without us even realizing it!

And bathrooms get cluttered very easily since they're a smaller area. So this week, we're going to get some of that clutter out of your bathroom!

Also, this week you can grab my Decluttering Affirmations for 50% off through Friday.

Get motivated and inspired to declutter your home with these beautiful Decluttering Affirmations!โ€‹

HERE'S HOW TO GET STARTED WITH THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

This week, you're going to fill a box full of old toiletries & medications. This should be stuff that's old, expired, or just never used and unneeded.

๐Ÿ‘€ Like that bottle of half-used shampoo you haven't touched since you changed hair products.

๐Ÿ‘€ Or that makeup you no longer wear since it caused you to break out in hives.

๐Ÿ‘€ Or that medicine that's been sitting on your shelf that expired 5 years ago.

  1. Grab a box and head to your bathroom.
  2. Fill the box with anything that's old, expired, or unused. Helpful hint: start with the counters!
  3. The goal is to fill one box, but if you find you're on a roll and end up with more than one box, all the better!
  4. Get the stuff OUT of your home! (See below for easy ways to get this stuff out ASAP.)

Here are some ideas for getting this stuff out of your home:

  • give away any new, unopened toiletries that are still good to a local shelter or in a local "buy nothing" or "free stuff" group on Facebook
  • toss any expired, opened toiletries in the trash (recycle the containers if possible)
  • properly dispose of expired medicines: see here for more info; contact your local pharmacy; also some CVS locations accept medicines for disposal

Simple as that! This should only take a few minutes of your time, but will pay off BIG down the road.

You'll start to notice MORE space in your home and LESS stuff!
